Flipping is another type of real estate investment that is receiving a large amount of press these days. This process involves purchasing a property below its value, investing in repairing or rehabbing the property, and then reselling the property for a substantial profit. This is one of the few short-term sorts of investment that are widely profitable when it comes to real estate investing. There are others but those carry even greater risks than flipping.


Of course there are high-risk real estate ventures for those that need a little excitement in their lives. One of the more common high-risk investments would be pre-construction real estate investing. With this form of investment the investor is actually 'betting' that the future property will sell for a higher price than the investor paid once the building is complete.


Whether your investment needs are low-risk, high-risk, or somewhere in between there is quite likely a style of real estate investment that will be appropriate for your specific investment needs. HUNTERSVILLE, N.C -- While Walmart has plans to house temporary employment services in the former medical building most recently used as detective offices by the Huntersville Police Department, questions remain concerning the future of the former police headquarters next door.


When the HPD relocated last summer to a sprawling, 26,000-square-foot facility off Julian Clark Avenue in The Park-Huntersville, the 15-year-old former station - an 8,400-square-foot brick building just west of the Gilead Road/N.C. 115 intersection - suddenly became a rare commodity: town-owned space without a designated use. And according to Assistant Town Manager Gerry Vincent, it's a situation the town is comfortable continuing at least for now. Read More.

Vero Beach Florida Homes For Sale Expert - Brad White

The residents of Vero Beach have spoken. By a wide margin, voters recently approved a referendum affirming City Council"s prior decision to sell the electric utility to FPL.


The proposed agreement calls for FPL to pay the city $111.9 million and other considerations for the utility system. The plan is to complete the deal by early 2014, though potential complications could delay the sale until October 2016.


What now?


"We wait patiently" is not an option.
